Welcome to AAA's 2026 Annual Meeting Registration
We will convene the 2026 AAA Annual meeting, November 18-22, with the theme “On the Verge,” an intentionally capacious theme that speaks to this moment and its many problems—the climate crisis and its tipping points, encroaching authoritarianism, the transmutations of racial biopolitics, the fate of neoliberalism, the development and spread of artificial intelligence, teetering institutions, to name a few—while also provoking reflection on what is left behind and what is up ahead. “On the Verge” draws attention to both endings and beginnings, while inhabiting the space in between. In order to access member rates you must be a member or purchase your membership in a separate transaction PRIOR to purchasing registration.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Session Participants (organizers, chairs, presenters, discussants): Registration fees are non-refundable once your proposal is accepted. If your proposal is not accepted, submit a Refund Request Form by October 31, 2026.
All Other Attendees: Submit all requests via the Refund Request Form.
- On or before October 31, 2026 — refund minus $25 administrative fee
- After October 31, 2026 — no refunds
Extenuating circumstances (medical emergencies, natural disasters) are considered case-by-case. No refunds for no-shows. Badge sharing, splitting, and reprints are prohibited.
Non-members registered with an exemption who subsequently join AAA must request registration conversion within 30 days of original purchase.
*Early registration runs April 27–August 31, 2026.
**Regular registration runs September 1–November 22, 2026.
***Eligible participants may include those seeking full-time employment, those employed in part-time, temporary, or freelance positions, or those whose current income is below a living wage in their field. The goal of this rate is to provide equitable access to the conference for individuals navigating employment challenges.
